Girl's Trip : Marco Island

As I mentioned before, last weekend I flew down to Marco Island, Florida for a girls weekend with my best gals from college. We had the absolute most amazing time. Literally, we didn't do anything but sun bathe, drink fancy tropical cocktails, and eat. And maybe a little dancing and bad singing was had too. 

It is exactly what I needed to rejuvenate myself here at home. I feel like I've gotten a new wind and can conquer anything. Let's see how long this lasts, shall we?

One of the most talented people I know, also happens to be one of my best friends, Rebecca. She is a true friend, and an amazing photographer. From documenting natural disasters to capturing the art of musicians, she is truly fantastic.  I mean how gorgeous is her photo above?! I always tell her I live vicariously through her because she's not afraid of anything.

Today, I wanted to spread her amazingness (I think I just made that up) with all of you. If nothing else maybe you will be inspired by her, like she inspires me.

Venturing Out West

In 8 days I will be on a plane to Denver, Colorado to visit my very dear college friend, Molly. I am so excited! It has been way too long since I have seen her, and the fact she lives in an awesome city should make for fun too.

Then, after a few days in Denver we are making the drive to Aspen, Colorado to finish the trip with a weekend of snowboarding/skiing and sight-seeing! Words can not explain how much I am looking forward to this!

Dodge ball: An Underdog Story

Finishing up my second annual season of dodge ball brings good news: we made it to the playoffs!!! Every Thursday night for the last 7 weeks I have met with some of my closest friends to laugh, drink, duck, dive, dip, and dodge. For those of you who know me well, I may not be very good at a lot of sports but I am very competitive when it comes to them, and this is why I was ecstatic when I found out we made the playoffs! We are the 32nd team in the playoffs out of 32 teams... pretty impressive huh? Well we may be the underdogs, but we have made it this far! And compared to last season that is quite the accomplishment! So on Thursday around 6 when you are making dinner or relaxing at home.. think about Balls Bitches & Beers (our team name- yeah I know I didn't come up with it) and wish us luck!

After another amazing weekend with the girls, my stomach hurts from laughing so much, I'm sick from getting so little sleep, and I am wishing like crazy we all lived in the same town like we once did in good old sunny Salem! Happy Monday everyone - I hope this cold of mine goes away as quickly as it came!

Twenty-four on the Twenty-fifth

Today one of my best friends in the whole world, Danielle Nicole turns 24! My how much can change in just a year! She is so fabulous and I wish her every happiness today and in the year ahead! I am so looking forward to celebrating this weekend with her!!
