I desperately long to know how to sew. Nothing too intricate, just a basic hem here and there. I can't tell you how many DIY projects are running threw my head, but nothing ever comes to life because I can't fully execute it on my own.
Today, I enlisted the help of a great teacher and my go - to person for advice (mi madre) and we have planned my first sewing lesson! I honestly can't wait! If all goes well I may be investing in my own sewing machine soon! I will keep you posted on how it goes and if my skills are worth sharing on here!
UGH Me too!! Tell Mama Harrison I want in. I mean, I know how to sew but I want to learn how to really sew and how to use a sewing machine. They scare me!!
ReplyDeleteMarci! I'm in the same boat! I actaully just got my first sewing machine and you would not believe what you can do! I just did a duvet cover and curtains-fun and cheap! Can't wait to see you tonight!
