Etsy shops. 

First of all, Etsy is aahmazeballs (que my best guilianna rancic voice). I love supporting small business people, and Etsy is the perfect source for that. These people are so creative and I could literally spend hours upon hours scouring through different shops for absolutely no real need.

Decorating With Antlers

Over the weekend, an innocent conversation with one of W's good friends resulted in me acquiring these gorgeous antlers. We just got to talking about how he is an avid hunter and I told him if he had any extra antlers laying around I would love to buy some from him. He went on to tell me that he had several and that he would give me a pair. This whole conversation occurred over a few cocktails (so you know how that goes), so I was stunned when we saw him the next day and he had these to give me! 

I am obsessed! And had been eyeing these for the longest time, but I actually prefer the larger ones more. 

So yesterday, I did some pinning, and here are some inspiration I found for decorating with antlers...

Today is a special day because it marks W and my 3rd wedding anniversary! We started a tradition of sorts for our anniversary, that we pick a place to go every year for a mini getaway. It's always been within driving distance, and nothing too lavish. Just somewhere to get away and enjoy a new city and each other.

 So in lieu of anniversary gifts, we go away together and that's our gift to each other. This year we are going to one of my favorite places on earth... Charleston, SC!  We are heading down there on Saturday and I can't wait to walk the battery and taste the delicious southern cuisine. There's just no place like Charleston!

But there may come a day when we just can't get away (am I rhyming?) , so I put together a little gift guide of some small gifts that can make any anniversary memorable.

Cheers Bitches Banner

I've had a few questions about the "Cheers Bitches" banner from my last post so I thought I'd share my source.

This was actually a custom banner I had made from the esty shop hawthorneave. Adrienne was a pleasure to work with, and the banner came out exactly how I wanted.

She was even so pleased with the banner, that she told me she has decided to display it in her etsy shop!
